Why many people to the illusion that the federal government is the solution to your problems?

The federal government efficiently. Snatch choice of individuals. It does not create wealth. The only thing the federal government should be doing is doing things that absolutely can not be done by any other means, such as providing for national defense. In most all other cases, only in the way of finding a better solution.

Most Americans attended the government run public schools. If you study history you will see that our presidents have claimed that schools have greatly expanded federal powers as our greatest presidents (Lincoln, FDR). It is no coincidence that this illusion plays a part in why our young people are indoctrinated to support government large.
