What kind of suit is this?

I’m a total noob at suits — but someone bought me this suit yesterday for my upcoming birthday and I’m wondering what kind of suit it is? Is it a dinner suit (tux) or a lounge suit or what? For me it’s a suit for everything; weddings, meetings, dinners, lounge. it’s just a suit and it’s vary nice.
