i have linoleum floor and they ?

i live right near the beach and my husband is in the military so he tracks in sand and i have a dog. my floors dont stay clean and always feel sticky even though i mop them and i use swifter sweeper wet and dry! i vacuum them too! any ideas!

The swifter is leaving a residue on the floor causing the stickiness.It needs to be rinsed w/ a mop and clean water. You may need to mop w/ vinegar and water to get all stickiness and then rinse again w/ clear water for your mop. good chance you ll need to also polish and reseal the floor w/ an OTC polish. Not Mop n glow. If you happen to know the maker of the floor, get their brand, if not get somebodies to do it.Armstrong and Colgoleum are both easy to find at the local home center. once the floor is clean and non sticky, these are just mop on applications GL
