Punk rock?

Ive really started to like this music a little but I dont really know the bands … Can you name your favorite band and song? I like The Distillers, Green Day (Care Not if you think theyre not punk) …

Good for modern punk, as you mentioned should try: "Rancid (one of my favorite bands ever, so start here, probably, with the album Let's Go!)-NOFX (Punk in Drublic is probably a good point starting), Pennywise (the same album title is a good first one), Dwarves (Dwarfs get is young and handsome and direct first top notch punk rock)-The Hives (Veni Vidi Vicious is a starting point)-Against Me! (Starting with the debut, Reinventing Axl Rose) Now a bit before, here are some bands that began early of the 80 or had their heyday in the 80s you might like: "The Descendants (Milo Goes to College to obtain a nearly perfect album)-Bad Religion (start with the number of control) "The Circle Jerks (group sex is the first to know), Dead Kennedy (fresh fruit for vegetables putrefaction)-Angry Samoans (The Set Unboxed has its first four albums in a CD and generally is cheaper than buying the discs print)-Black Flag (Everything Went Black is a good compilation of their first material, and damaged quite a good debut)-Agent Orange (living in darkness is a great punk album surfy)-The Violent Femmes (the debut car) and about 70 things that you can enjoy:-The Clash (self debut) The Damned (Damned Damned Damned), The Undertones (debut in the title is some of the best and pop punk ever recorded before, Da Green if you like you'll like these guys)-The Ramones (Rocket to Russia start with, but are quite large constantly in my view, the 4 first albums are classics safely), Generation X (the new car debut, more precursors for Green Day style, and featuring Billy Idol singing)-The Buzzcocks (Another music in a kitchen different or the singles collection Singles Going Steady is good to begin with), vibrators (Pure Mania)-Stiff Little Fingers (flammable material)-The Sex Pistols ("Never Mind The Bollocks, Here the Sex Pistols) and the list is probably already a bit overwhelming so I will stop, but we recommend all of it.
