Peak Lapel

Peak Lapel
Should I get a tuxedo with side vents or no pleats?

I am buying a peak lapel, one button tuxedo. I was looking for one of them, side vents on the roof, and without pleats in the pants. The tuxedo in my price range do not have both, but I can choose one or the other. What I choose? Or should I get the classic … pleated? Ventless Thanks!

What To Wear With A Tuxedo

Tuxedos be simply put together with a suit that includes pants, Bow Tie, and a jacket says wool suits brand name designer. Tuxedos are usually worn in formal events such as attending an opera, ballet, weddings, or any occasion that require such dress code.

At present, there are already several styles of mens tuxedos, but the two preferred styles are: the Shawl Collar and the Peaked Lapel. These styles are more traditional and formal than notched lapel tuxedos. The shawl collar is a long tux with a continuous lapel line and a bit rounded in shape. The peaked lapel has a wider collar– just like most of the Double Breasted suits. Notched lapel style has the same lapel line compared to what you can see in single breasted tuxedos. In terms of color, black or Dark Blue tux and seldom tuxedos are worn in white color.

Of course, wearing tux is not complete without the following:

Shoes. Make sure your shoes are appropriate with your outfit. Some prefer fashion forward trendy shoes while others may prefer simple clean polished shoes.

Pants. Formal pants or trousers have braid on the outside seam or a Black Satin stripe. Some formal pants may not have belt loops because it is removed by the tailor when adjusting pants.

Coat. A topcoat or a black full length Trench Coat can be worn with a tuxedo. Contrasting designs, color or pattern such as a grey herringbone coat that comes with a Black Velvet collar may also be very complimentary to the tuxedo.
