How to cut a collar for a 80s look?

I have a White Shirt and I would add a 80 look to it, either with a neck cut or a V-neck.

Cut the shirt of two inches at the shoulder to the other side, like a boat neck cut. be sure to cut two inches from shoulder seam. It should be something like a banana cut. you still want a bit of sitting on the shoulder as it slides a little, but not much because you would not that looks too stretched. 80 look .. ha so funny, this is only used to do in High School is in fashion again, now I would like to keep all my, Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Duran Duran rock buttons used to pin the whole Levi's jackets! Black rubber bracelets and neon nail polish and accessories. (Save neon equipment – do not go there! Did not look good then and does not look right now) Very funny!
