Why everyone hates Carpenter Jeans?

I recently watched a video on YouTube about a gay man expressing his hatred for the men who wear trousers carpenter. I was not sure what they were called before watching this video (my boyfriend has em) and I do not think it looked so bad. I wondered why everyone (or perhaps Once only the gay community?) hates carpenter jeans?

lol let me guess u saw "william" on youtube lol I do not know that it is a large pocket for the side a bit upset people, but years ago they used to be used All Over the world! I do not know what happened !!!!!!!!!!
