KZ750 twin cafe racer?

Hey anybody ever make a cafe racer out of a 79 kz750 twin,so far I,ve got mac pipes ,kerker cans new clutch etc grabbed a viper fairing & a plastic clamp on fender,mocked up it looks pretty cool, im not sure if I like the fairing got a cafe seat & of course its to short,figures maybe I should have measured the original,any suggestions on this project

You can search the net for cafe racer parts suppliers, also look on ebay for ideas. There are plenty of cafe racers on there and the 750s are good bikes to make a cafe racer from. I have seen guys take an old gas tank and cut it to make a custom rear fender to go behind the short cafe seat,, after paint and mounting to the bike it looked awesome.
