Whats the highest “rank” you can have in the military/army without going to college?

please answer, i wanna go to the army/military right after highschool but i want to have the most decent position possible i wanna be a ground soldier with a gun. I think someone said it was a platoon leader.

You might be able to make it to E6 (Staff Sergeant) without a college degree. If you’re going infantry (what you described) it will be tough. You should be able to make E5 (Sergeant) within 3-4 years, but it will take a LOT of military education and ACCP to make up the promotion points that you would have with an education. I don’t think you’d have much luck being promoted beyond Staff Sergeant with no college.
It all depends on your record, but DA promotions are big on college.
